The Swiss-Cat Product Range - a catamaran built with a modular concept
The catamaran "SwissCat" is a new development by Lehmar. This model can be used for inland as well as off-shore waters. The tried and tested construction as well as the very high quality are now available as a construction kit from the hull to many expandability extras, which not only make this boat perfectly suitable for commercial users, but also very interesting to small clubs or private users.
Due to its catamaran shape the SwissCat has excellent stability and tracks well. Unlike a monohull, the boat can even approach extremely shallow waters with its middle tunnel, which also considerably improves the wave behaviour as well as the lane stability. Thanks to its catamaran shape, the boat can be accessed without lateral heeling. The deck of the SwissCat is self-draining and the integrated double bottom with up to 14 separate air chambers and up to 700 closed cells, depending on the boat’s size, guarantees unsinkability. The open hulls can be easily piled and are therefore well-suited for disaster control.
