Underwater Rescue and Recovery System

The Lehmar GmbH is the European sole distributor of a very innovative underwater rescue and recovery system that was developed in the US. It is a telescopable rescue device consisting of handles and various working heads, allowing:

  • the rescue of persons and animals from water and ice
  • the recovery of persons and items from a depth of up to 6 m to the surface
  • the manoeuvring of items under and on the water
  • the handling of accessories, such as the rescue loop from a safe distance over to persons in the water or ice

Another variant of this system provides high-resolution 120° optics, LED-/infrared underwater lighting, waterproof monitor and hoisting hook for the search and recovery of persons on the water surface.

Thanks to this device two children in the US that first slipped under the frozen surface and then sunk to the bottom of the lake could be verifiably saved from drowning.
